Our average Twin Cities high temp is 84 degrees on July 12. That’s right about where the metro area will top out this afternoon. Much of Minnesota and western Wisconsin will have Sunday highs in the 80s, with some upper 70s in far northern Minnesota:

Most areas will be rain-free today, but a few scattered showers may pop up in far northwestern Minnesota by mid and late afternoon.

How warm has it been?

There has only been one day this July with a cooler-than-normal high temp at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

Our average Twin Cities July temp (the average of all the daily high and low temps) is running 5.7 degrees warmer than normal:
