Mostly sunny and pleasant for Monday

Storms impact western Minnesota late

Monday stays comfortable across Minnesota under seasonable temperatures and mostly sunny skies, before rain moves in late in the evening.

Monday’s forecast

Monday is starting off with temperatures ranging from average to slightly below average, from 40s in northern Minnesota to 60s south, under mostly clear skies and light winds. Afternoon highs for most of the state stay just a couple degrees below average, from the mid-70s to lower 80s.

Humidity remains lower and winds stay light, so overall it will be a comfortable day. Skies stay be mostly sunny, with a few more clouds developing in the afternoon. By late Monday, an approaching storm will bring showers and storms into western Minnesota.

That system brings widespread wet weather across Minnesota Tuesday, along with a risk for severe weather. The extended forecast will be updated around 9 a.m.
