Other than a few showers and storms moving across the state Friday and Saturday, the overall weather pattern for Minnesota through the next week stays relatively quiet with seasonable temperatures.
Wednesday and Thursday
Under a widespread area of high pressure, Minnesota continues its quiet weather trend through Thursday. Lows remain mostly in the 50s and 60s, with a few isolated 40s in northern Minnesota. Highs in the 70s and 80s stay very close to average for late July.

Sunny skies prevail both days, although there is a weak boundary causing a few more clouds in southwestern Minnesota Wednesday that could even bring that part of the state a few isolated sprinkles. Even the wind stays very light the next couple days.
A weak cold front
Friday begins much like our recent weather, but by afternoon, showers and storms start to push into the northwestern corner of the state ahead of a cold front.

Spotty wet weather then moves across Minnesota Saturday, before clearing out Saturday evening.
At this time, it looks like the best chance for rain in the Twin Cities comes Saturday afternoon. It currently does not look like the front will bring significant chances for severe weather.
Precipitation is likely to stay lighter, with most of the state seeing under a quarter inch of rain and only isolated higher amounts.

Next week starts cool and dry
Behind the front, temperatures cool slightly, bringing most of the state back into the 70s for highs for at least a couple days. Drier air also returns, with no significant rain chances until at least midweek.
Here is the extended forecast for the Twin Cities, which shows the cooler, quieter weather beginning on Sunday:
