Let’s start with the latest info from the National Weather Service regarding the tornadoes that moved through parts of Minnesota on Friday.
The Twin Cities office of the NWS has released the results of their storm surveys that were conducted yesterday. The NWS surveyed damage from 6 of the Friday tornadoes and they determined that 5 of the 6 tornadoes were rated EF-0, which are considered weak tornadoes with max winds in the 65-85 mph range. There was one tornado that the NWS rated EF-1, which had max winds estimated at 95 mph as it tracked between Biscay and Glencoe in McLeod county on Friday:
