Dry most of the weekend
Saturday is expected to be rain-free in Minnesota and western Wisconsin. The daylight hours of Sunday also look dry in most areas. Northwestern and west-central Minnesota could see scattered showers and thunderstorms late Sunday afternoon/early Sunday evening, then those showers and thunderstorms spread eastward Sunday night.

Temperature trends
Twin Cities metro area highs are projected to reach the lower 70s most of next week, but we could touch 80 on Wednesday. Next weekend and the start of the following week look cooler than normal.
