Cooler temperatures and comfortable dew points are on tap for the weekend. That’s good news for anyone who doesn’t have air conditioning and for anyone that isn’t a fan of steamy weather.
Saturday highs will be mainly in the 70s:
There could be a few 60s in parts of northeastern Minnesota.
Our average Twin Cities high is 78 degrees on August 29. The Saturday forecast high of 76 degrees in the metro area is just slightly below average.

Dry for most of the weekend
The daylight hours look rain-free in most areas this weekend. A few scattered showers and thunderstorms could move into northwestern Minnesota late Sunday afternoon, then spread east-southeastward Sunday evening and overnight Sunday night.
