Dry most of the weekend
Saturday is expected to be rain-free in Minnesota and western Wisconsin. The daylight hours of Sunday also look dry in most areas. Northwestern and west-central Minnesota could see some showers and thunderstorms late Sunday afternoon/early Sunday evening. Those showers and thunderstorms spread eastward late Sunday evening and Sunday night.

In the Twin Cities metro area, our Sunday thunderstorm chance will probably hold off until after sunset.
