The Saturday high temperature at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport was 64 degrees. That’s well below our average high of 73 degrees this time of year.
Temperatures will rebound on Sunday, with highs in the mid 70s in much of the metro area. Most of central and southern Minnesota plus a good chunk of western Wisconsin will probably reach the 70s Sunday afternoon:
A few spots in southwestern Minnesota could touch 80.

Temperature trends
Twin Cities metro area highs are projected to reach the upper 70s on Monday, then around 80 on Tuesday, followed by upper 70s Wednesday. Temps retreat a bit after that, with highs in the upper 60s Thursday and Friday.

Sunday should be rain-free in most areas, with a stray shower possible in northern Minnesota.

Sally to become a hurricane
Tropical storm Sally was centered off the southwest coast of Florida Saturday afternoon. Sally is expected to become a hurricane early this week after tracking to the northwest:
