Warmer Sunday with showers far north; summerlike Monday and Tuesday

After plodding through nearly a week of unseasonably chilly weather, we can enjoy a few warmer days.

Sunday will be quite pleasant for most of us with high temperatures ranging from the 60s in the north to the 70s across southern Minnesota. The Twin Cities should warm into the low 70s with sunshine Sunday afternoon.

Areas of morning fog have developed, especially in the low-lying areas of southeastern Minnesota.

The other weather wrinkle will be a scattering of showers across far northern Minnesota. Weather radar from Grand Forks is tracking showers in the northwest corner of the state.

The warmup will continue through at least Tuesday before temperatures begin to tail off as we head toward next weekend.
