Our average Twin Cities metro area high is 64 degrees on Oct. 3. We’ll top out in the lower 50s this Saturday afternoon. We’ll share highs in the lower 50s with much of the southern half of Minnesota plus west-central Wisconsin:

Most of northern Minnesota will have highs in the 40s.
Winds will be light, which is nice. The light winds will linger overnight, so radiational cooling will drop lows into the 30s in most areas late Saturday night/early Sunday morning:

Far northern Minnesota will have lows in the 20s. If you’ve been covering tender plants to help them survive chilly overnight temps, you’ll want to do it again Saturday evening.
