I’m glad that my wife and I brought our potted plants and hanging plants indoors last weekend. We put the plants back outside on Monday and they’ll survive into next week.
Weekend temps
Our average Twin Cities high temperature is 61 degrees on Oct. 10. The metro area is expected to reach the mid to upper 60s on Saturday. Highs in the 60s will be common in central and southern Minnesota this Saturday, with 50s to the north:
A few spots in southwestern and south-central Minnesota could touch 70.
Breezes of 10-15 mph are expected in many areas Saturday afternoon:

Back to temps, Sunday highs will reach the 70s in many areas, with some 60s in northeastern Minnesota:
Some spots in southwestern and south-central Minnesota could top 80.
Winds gusts over 20 mph are possible on Sunday.
Rain chances
Many areas haven’t seen significant rainfall for several weeks, so it would be great to see a bit of rain.
Some forecast models keep the Twin Cities metro area dry until Sunday evening. Other models bring a rain chance into the metro area Sunday afternoon. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s North American Mesoscale (NAM) forecast model shows this potential rain pattern on Sunday:
