A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until midnight Sunday night for much of western Minnesota:

The severe thunderstorm watch does not include the Twin Cities metro area, but the metro area could see a few strong t-storms anytime between about 9 p.m. and 1 a.m. this Sunday night/early Monday.

Carver County and Scott County of the southwest metro were included in the area with a slight risk for severe weather this Sunday evening/night on the latest SPC outlook, meaning that scattered severe thunderstorms are possible. An isolated severe thunderstorm is possible Sunday night in the remainder of the Twin Cities metro area.
