New record highs for Nov. 7 were set in the Twin Cities (74 degrees), St. Cloud (69) and also in Eau Claire, Wis. (75).

A strengthening low pressure system over the western Dakotas will ramp up our winds today. Winds could gust to 40-50 mph in the Twin Cities metro area by afternoon and they could gust over 50 mph at times in western Minnesota.
