Minnesota and western Wisconsin are seeing areas of fog this Sunday morning, with freezing fog also possible in spots. A stray flurry is also possible this morning.

Fog is expected to be thickest in parts of northwestern Minnesota, where a dense fog advisory continues until noon:

Highs in the upper 20s to around 30 are expected across most of Minnesota and western Wisconsin this Sunday, with some lower 30s in southwestern Minnesota:

Sunday afternoon wind gusts will be in the 12-17 mph range in northern Minnesota, with lighter gusts elsewhere:

Plotted winds are in knots, with 12 knots equal to around 14 mph.

Northeastern Minnesota has the deepest snow cover right now. The Thursday snow depth map from the Minnesota State Climatology Office shows at least 4 inches of snow cover in most of Minnesota, with 8 inches or more in northeastern Minnesota and parts of north-central Minnesota:

Parts of southwestern Minnesota have very little snow cover.
