More mild weather Tuesday
After a few spots of morning fog, sunshine returns
Other than a couple areas of fog, Tuesday remains fairly quiet with dry skies and highs in the 30s.
Tuesday’s weather
Although a few degrees cooler than Monday morning’s temperatures, the state is starting off Tuesday very mild for January. Most of the state is in the 20s, with a few teens in west-central Minnesota. There are also a few areas of fog in central Minnesota that will lift quickly through the morning.
Winds stay predominantly southwest through the day and remain a bit breezier in western Minnesota. This mild flow keeps highs well above average, with almost the entire state in the 30s and a few 40s southwest.
Skies range from party sunny north to mostly sunny south, but everyone should see some sunshine Tuesday.
A late-week snowstorm brings both travel concerns and cooler weather. That extended forecast will be updated around 9 a.m.
