The snow that began on Wednesday continues in northeastern Minnesota Thursday morning.

Snow totals
There have been some impressive snow totals in parts of northern Minnesota. I saw 11.6 inches tallied about 7 miles southwest of Pine River, in Cass County. Eight inches of new snow were measured at McKinley, in St. Louis County. Duluth reported 7 inches of new snow.

Windy Thursday
Wind gusts of 20 to 30 mph are expected, with winds tapering a bit by late afternoon:
