We’ll have mild (for March) temps this weekend. Our average Twin Cities high temperature is 40 degrees on March 13. Metro area highs are expected to reach the upper 50s to around 60 on Saturday.
Most of Minnesota will see Saturday highs in the 50s, with a few 40s in far northeastern Minnesota:
Saturday wind gusts will be fairly light, in the 10-15 mph range in most areas.
Sunday highs will reach the lower 50s in the metro area and southeastern Minnesota plus west-central Wisconsin, with mainly 40s elsewhere:

Parts of northeastern Minnesota will have Sunday highs in the 30s.
Winds pick up on Sunday, with gusts of 20 to 25 mph in many areas:

Rain chances far south on Sunday
A low pressure system will spin moisture toward Minnesota on Sunday. Southwestern Minnesota will have the best chance of rain showers during the daylight hours of Sunday. The precipitation spreads northeastward Sunday night. It may change to snow during the overnight hours of Sunday night…more on that in the coming days.
