A look at April snow
The western third of Minnesota had the most sunshine on Saturday, and a similar pattern may hold on Sunday.
North-central and northeastern Minnesota plus northwestern Wisconsin are likely to see periods of rain Sunday and Sunday evening. Far southeastern Minnesota and west-central Wisconsin will have a chance of scattered showers. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s North American Mesoscale (NAM) forecast model shows the potential precipitation pattern Sunday and Sunday evening:
Note that some scattered showers are possible in the Twin Cities by late Sunday evening.

Snow potential Sunday night and Monday in the north
Colder air moves into the system Sunday night, and wet snow will spread into northwestern and north-central Minnesota. Periods of wet snow will continue in those same areas on Monday, with a rain/snow mix in much of central and northeastern Minnesota. The Twin Cities metro area is expected to see some rain showers Monday and Monday evening, with a mix possible later Monday night.

Temperature trends
Sunday highs will be mainly in the 50s, with 40s in far northern Minnesota:
Sunday wind gusts of 16-24 mph are expected in portions of eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin:
Plotted gusts are in knots, with 16 knots equal to 18.4 mph.
Back to temperatures, Twin Cities metro area highs are projected to about 51 degrees on Monday, followed by mid 40s on Tuesday. Our highs then rebound to the lower 50s Wednesday, followed by upper 50s Thursday and Friday.
April snow?
Our 30-year average April snow total in the Twin Cities is 2.4 inches. We haven’t had any snow at MSP airport so far this April. In the past eleven Aprils, our snow total at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport has been as high as 26.1 inches (2018) and as low as zero (2010):
