A warm and hazy Sunday

The Arrowhead sees improvement in the smoky conditions

The state finishes out the weekend with more warm, dry, and hazy weather.

Sunday’s forecast

Thanks to the influence of high pressure, Minnesota is off to another quiet start Sunday morning, with clear skies, light winds, and seasonable lows in the 50s and 60s.

Under plentiful sunshine, highs will make it into the 80s, with a few 90s likely north and west.

It will be hazy sunshine again, with smoke in the atmosphere from fires in Canada.
However, under light winds across much of Minnesota from the southeast, the Arrowhead, which spent much of last week with air quality issues, is expected to have improved conditions, especially right along Lake Superior.

The week ahead stays hotter, with limited chances for needed rain.

That extended forecast will be updated around 9 a.m.
