Wintry mix spreads across Minnesota

Areas of showers will continue to move across southern Minnesota and into Wisconsin as we go through Sunday morning and early Sunday afternoon.  The southern part of the Twin Cities metro area could also see a few scattered morning showers.  An isolated thunderstorm is also possible this morning/early afternoon in southern Minnesota and adjacent parts of Wisconsin. Severe weather is not expected today.

The NWS Storm Prediction Center shows general (non-severe) t-storms are possible in southern Minnesota and into southwestern Wisconsin:

Sunday highs will be in the 60s across the northern third of Minnesota, with mainly lower 70s elsewhere:
