Wow!  That was a snowstorm that over-delivered.

The storm total Friday into very early Saturday was 11.8 inches at MSP airport. 

I saw 18 inch snowfall reports from Eagan and Rosemount and 20 inches in Woodbury, with one report of 21 inches in the east side of St. Paul. My tally in St. Paul was 10.2 inches. I saw a report of 8.1 inches in southwest Minneapolis.  Elk River, on the northwest side of the metro area, received just 3.5 inches of new snow.

The weather will cooperate with storm cleanup plans today. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s High-Resolution Rapid-Refresh (HRRR) model shows the potential precipitation pattern from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. today:

Some winter storm warnings continue in parts of western Wisconsin until 9 a.m.:

Our average Twin Cities high is 30 degrees on Dec. 11. Saturday highs will be near 30 in the metro area plus southern Minnesota, with upper 20s north:

Forecast wind gusts are in knots, with 17 knots equal to 19.6 mph.
