11.8 inches is the final snow total at MSP airport; much more in some spots

Good cleanup weather Saturday

Wow! That was a snowstorm that over-delivered.

The storm total Friday into very early Saturday was 11.8 inches at MSP airport.

I saw 18 inch snowfall reports from Eagan and Rosemount and 20 inches in Woodbury, with one report of 21 inches in the east side of St. Paul. My tally in St. Paul was 10.2 inches. I saw a report of 8.1 inches in southwest Minneapolis. Elk River, on the northwest side of the metro area, received just 3.5 inches of new snow.
