We’ve seen Sunday morning highs in the 20s in the Twin Cities metro area and southern Minnesota, but temps will retreat a bit as we go through Sunday afternoon. Parts of northwestern Minnesota will have Sunday highs in the single-digits.

Monday highs top 20 degrees in western Minnesota and also in southern Minnesota, with teens to the northeast:
Southwestern Minnesota will reach the 30s, with 40 possible in the far southwest.
The warmest day of the week will be Tuesday, with many spots in southern Minnesota reaching 40 degrees or higher, and mainly 30s elsewhere:
I wouldn’t be surprised to see a 50 in Rock County of far southwestern Minnesota Tuesday afternoon.
Our average Twin Cities high temperature is 26 degrees on Feb. 7. Metro area highs will be around 20 degrees on Monday, then soar to around 40 Tuesday afternoon. Twin Cities highs retreat to the mid 30s Wednesday, followed by lower 30s Thursday and Friday.
Tuesday snow chance north
Parts of northern Minnesota could see some snow showers at times on Tuesday. The flakes could mix with a few rain drops Tuesday afternoon.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s North American Mesoscale (NAM) forecast model shows the potential precipitation pattern on Tuesday (6 a.m. to 5 p.m.):

Our average Twin Cities snowfall total for the entire month of February is 9.5 inches. The snowiest February in TC weather records was just 3 years ago, in 2019, when MSP airport tallied 39 inches of snow.
