The snowstorm is winding down in many areas, but another inch or so is possible Tuesday evening in east-central Minnesota (including the Twin Cities) plus west-central Wisconsin.
Several additional inches of snow are expected in parts of northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin Tuesday evening.
The winter storm warnings and advisories for the Twin Cities metro area expire at 6 p.m., but winter storm warnings continue in portions of northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin through the evening hours:
The blizzard warning (red) for several west-central Minnesota counties continues until 9 p.m. this evening. They could see an additional inch or so of snow, with severely reduced visibilities in strong winds.

How much snow?
Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport recorded 3.4 inches of snow through noon Tuesday, and their next measurement will be at 6 p.m. I measured 4.2 inches of new snow through 2 p.m. in St. Paul and I’ve seen a 5.2-inch report from Rosemount and 6.1 inches in Hudson Wisconsin.

The two-digit snow totals that extend from central Minnesota into northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin include the heavy snow from Monday.
