Sunday afternoon high temps will be near-normal for this time of year, and winds will be fairly light.
The best chance of reaching the 30s will be in the southern half of Minnesota, with mainly 20s to the north. Much of the Twin Cities metro area will see highs in the lower 30s. Our average Twin Cities high is 33 degrees this time of year.

Twin Cities metro area highs will reach the upper 30s, and a few spots in far southwestern Minnesota could touch 50.
Tuesday highs will have a similar range; from 40s in southwestern Minnesota to 20s in the north:
Some spots in the metro area could top out in the mid 30s Tuesday afternoon.
Twin Cities metro area highs are projected to reach the mid 30s on Wednesday, followed by lower 30s Thursday and Friday.
Snow chances to start the week
Parts of far northern Minnesota could see a flurry or light snow shower this Sunday, then a low pressure system is expected to bring periods of snow to roughly the northern third of Minnesota and parts of northwestern Wisconsin on Monday.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s North American Mesoscale (NAM) forecast model shows the potential precipitation pattern from 3 a.m. Monday through Monday evening:
Another low pressure system will bring periods of light snow to much of the northern half of Minnesota, plus northwestern Wisconsin, on Tuesday. That Tuesday system may clip the northern part of the Twin Cities metro area Tuesday morning.

Our average Twin Cities temp is running 6.8 degrees below normal this February. This is our second consecutive colder than normal month in the Twin Cities, after ten consecutive above-normal months from March through December of 2021.
