Average late-February temps can be pleasant, especially when winds are light.
Our average Twin Cities high is 33 degrees this time of year. Metro area highs will reach the lower 30s Sunday afternoon. Highs are forecast to reach the 30s in much of southern Minnesota and parts of western Wisconsin, with mainly 20s in northern Minnesota:
Some spots in southwestern Minnesota will top 40, and there will be some upper teens near the Canadian border.
Winds will be light in most areas, but could gust over 12 mph in the far west and in parts of northeastern Minnesota:
