After a 43 degree high Monday in the Twin Cities, we’ll be cooler, but still mild Tuesday in the mid to upper 30s. Most of southern Minnesota will again be above freezing with 20s in the north.

There’ll be a few spotty light snow showers in central Minnesota Tuesday but another clipper brings a bit more moisture late Tuesday night into early Wednesday with a possible wintry mix and a coating of snow.

This third clipper system of the week will affect mainly central Minnesota and could bring a coating to a half inch of snowfall in some areas.

Temperatures remain mild through the week and that will play into the next, much larger storm system Friday night into Saturday likely bringing a mix of precipitation in southern Minnesota and heavy snow potential north and west.
