Most places are near or below freezing across the state early Friday. Watch for refreeze in many areas as most of the state is back near or below freezing early this Friday morning. Look for another day with a mix of clouds and some sunshine. Brighter skies return for the weekend.

High temperatures will again be in the 30s north, 40s to low 50s in southern Minnesota Friday.

Warm air surges back in for the weekend pushing temperatures back well into the 50s Saturday across southern Minnesota.

The spring or vernal equinox is at 10:33 a.m. Sunday morning, and fittingly it will be near 60 degrees once again for many in southern Minnesota.
High temperatures should again be well into the 50s, even near 60 for the southern half of Minnesota Monday. We’ll then keep an eye on a storm system that will bring some developing rain showers Tuesday that could turn to some snow Tuesday night into early Wednesday.
