Brighter Tuesday; more rain, warmth ahead
Sun to start with increasing clouds; rain develops Wednesday
It’s a chilly start after a night of clear skies and lighter winds. We’ll see a warmer afternoon Tuesday with increasing clouds. Rain showers move in Wednesday midday.
Brighter before wet again
It’s a cold one to start with mainly clear skies around the region and much lighter winds. Tuesday will yield warmer afternoon high temperatures.
Don’t get too used to the sunshine, rain is already on the way Wednesday and even snow for northern Minnesota. Expect showers to start up in the morning Wednesday.
Rainfall amounts could top out over one-half inch for some places and northern Minnesota again could see additional snowfall of 1 to 3 inches, though deep into the Arrowhead could see more!
Despite the clouds and showers, milder air will push temperatures to near 50 for much of southern Minnesota Wednesday.
It’ll be brighter again Thursday with the warming trend continuing into the weekend. We have a good shot at 70 in the Twin Cities Saturday but also the chance of some thunderstorms.
