Here we go again: more wind driven rain and snow to the north

Anticipate a wet Wednesday with scattered rain showers in central and southern Minnesota with snow in the north. Winds will be blustery from the southeast at 10-20 mph with gusts as high as 30-45 mph. The sun returns Thursday.

This spring: if it’s Wednesday, it must be wet. Ever since the start of spring every, single Wednesday has had rain or snow (or both). Expect showers to sweep across the state through late afternoon.

In northeast Minnesota it’s heavy snow to be concerned with, not just rain. Portions of the north shore into Cook county could see 6 to 12 more inches of snow!

Much of central and eastern Minnesota stands to see over one-half inch of precipitation; another soaking.

Brighter again Thursday

The sun breaks out again Thursday and it will be warmer! Expect highs well into the 50s for much of the state with pockets of 40s in the snow-packed regions.
