Weekend temps and winds
Our average Twin Cities high temperature is 66 degrees on May 7. Many spots in the metro area are expected to reach the lower 70s Saturday afternoon. Most of southern and central Minnesota will see Saturday highs in the 70s, with mainly 60s in the north:
Highs in the 50s are expected near Lake Superior this Saturday.
It’ll be a bit breezy. Saturday afternoon wind gusts will be close to 20 mph in many areas, and over 25 mph in the Red River Valley of northwestern Minnesota:
