After storms, a nice weekend
Beautiful stretch of weather ahead
Quieter weather with dropping dew points and cooler temperatures for Friday into the weekend.
More storms late Thursday
It was another round of severe weather, this time for mostly central and western Minnesota that created a pile of high wind reports, hail and even a few tornadoes.
Madison, Minn., reported a 94 mph wind gust. Forada in Douglas County reported an 87 mph wind gust. In Lyon County, Taunton reported 81 mph and Marshall reported 78 mph. Canby had a 75 mph wind gust.
Quiet, beautiful weather now sets in
Behind a cool front, dew points are dropping and it will be much more comfortable. Look for sunshine to increase Friday with cooler temperatures but still above normal.
The weekend is really shaping up to be nice. Saturday will bring another day in the 70s for much of central and southern Minnesota though we’ll start to see cooler readings in the north, in the 60s.
