Slightly warmer Monday; wet midweek
Some sun, 60s return Monday
Monday will bring temperatures back above 60 after a cool weekend. We’ll see some sun through increasing clouds. Rain is on the way for many by Wednesday.
Slightly warmer after a chilly weekend
It’s another cool morning early Monday after a chilly weekend. Most places are in the 40s and 30s to start off Monday. Some places are again frosty. Nowhere in Minnesota hit 60 on Saturday. The northern third of Minnesota was in the 40s only. Saturday morning saw frosty temperatures for many in northern Minnesota also. Hibbing, Cloquet, Moose Lake, Brimson, Fergus Falls, Crookston and Moorhead all dipped to or below freezing early Saturday morning.
We’ll see highs cracking 60 across most of Minnesota Monday afternoon with some sunshine.
A rainy Wednesday shaping up
Tuesday should be uneventful with temperatures back in the 60s and 50s; still below normal.
Our next system will be a low pressure area to the south moving northeast. It will bring rain showers Wednesday to much of Minnesota though northwest Minnesota may be mainly missed by this event.
Summer like conditions with warmer temperatures, humidity and a few thunderstorms return in time for the Memorial Weekend. Expect 70s and some 80s again with sticky dew points Saturday.
