After a chilly morning, temperatures will be warmer Monday with widespread 60s, but still below normal for most. Rain develops Wednesday.
From frost to warmer temperatures
It was a second morning of frost for many parts of northern Minnesota. Temperatures dipped to 27 degrees in Crane Lake and Kabetogama. Grand Marais, Ely and Orr bottomed out at 28. We’ll see widespread 60s Monday.
A few sprinkles are possible in western Minnesota with increasing clouds.
More rain on the way Wednesday
Our next storm system will be coming from the southwest spreading rain across much of Minnesota Wednesday.

Parts of southeast Minnesota could see one inch or more of precipitation from this latest storm.
Beyond that, summer-like conditions move back into the region. High temperatures will return to the 70s by Friday.
We’ll see above normal temperatures for the Memorial Weekend; mainly in the 70s and low 80s.
It will not be 100 percent dry for the upcoming weekend however. A chance of storms will be around as we see humidity accompany the warmer air.
