Pleasant Tuesday; rain moves in Tuesday night
Clouds increase Tuesday, but mild ahead of rain
Tuesday will bring nearly normal temperatures with increasing clouds ahead of rain that moves in Tuesday night into Wednesday.
Mild ahead of Wednesday rain
Our next storm system is already circulating a large area of showers to our south. The system will lift north through Tuesday.
Ahead of it we’ll see a pleasant Tuesday with warmer temperatures and increasing clouds.
Showers will march north into the southern most portions of Minnesota after dark and reach the Twin Cities by the very early morning hours Wednesday. Expect periods of rain through the day Wednesday.

Warming up but somewhat unsettled this weekend
Summerlike temperatures will be back for the weekend many consider the unofficial start to summer.
Along with the increase in temperature will come an increase in humidity. Dew points by Sunday will be pretty muggy.
As the mid- and upper-level flow of the atmosphere becomes what we call “positively tilted,” or flowing southwest to northeast, we’ll see several possible minor disturbances ripple through the atmosphere touching off at least some thunderstorm chances over the weekend.
Neither day looks like a wash out but Sunday does look like probably the highest chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms by late in the day.
