Here’s an update on the severe thunderstorm watch.
The National Weather Service has removed many counties from the severe thunderstorm watch. The watch still includes portions of west-central Wisconsin and a few southeastern Minnesota counties until 1 p.m.:
The Twin Cities metro area is no longer in the severe thunderstorm watch, but the metro area could see an isolated thunderstorm this morning and late afternoon, followed by an increasing chance of showers and thunderstorms later this evening and overnight.
In addition to the remaining counties in the severe thunderstorm watch, an isolated strong to severe thunderstorm is possible this morning and early afternoon in portions of northern and central Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin.
