Happy meteorological summer! Enjoy sunshine with slightly cooler than normal temperatures Wednesday with lighter winds than the last several days.
A cool first morning of June
Temperatures are definitely cooler to start out this June 1 morning. Temperatures range from the upper 30s earlier in far northern Minnesota to the low 50s south.

We’ll see a beautiful Wednesday with highs mostly in the 60s across the state. Some spots in southern Minnesota will be near 70, but overall it will be slightly below normal.

You’ll also notice much lighter wind speeds Wednesday.

Meteorological summer starts cool
I did a recap of meteorological spring 2022. Be sure to check it out here:
No surprise, it was wet and cool overall for Minnesota.
We’ll see sunshine Thursday and Friday too before a chance of showers moves in late Saturday but the outlook overall for the first part of June is for cooler than normal conditions but very pleasant.
