After some rain for some spots, clouds will decrease Wednesday and that will lead to warmer temperatures. The warming trend will continue through the week and especially next week.
Brighter skies lead to warmer temperatures
We’ll see more sunshine Wednesday after Tuesday’s clouds and some showers.

There could yet be an isolated pop-up shower Wednesday but most models keep most of Minnesota dry. Expect more sunshine Thursday with even warmer temperatures.

Next rain/thunder chances and heat
We do have the next chance of some rain and this time thunder coming in late Saturday for most. Southwest Minnesota could see some showers Friday before that as well.

After this weekend we’re still on track for a sustained warm up. Prepare for consistent 80s and even some 90s in central and southern Minnesota next week.
