Isolated shower, few more clouds Friday
We have the chance of a pop up shower or two Friday afternoon with partly cloudy skies.

High temperatures will again be mainly well into the 70s nearly statewide. With a few more clouds around we likely won’t reach 80 again in the Twin Cities

Likely rain Saturday then becoming hotter
A more likely and widespread chance of showers moves in late Friday night across Minnesota from northwest to southeast bringing mainly morning showers Saturday. We’ll then see a mainly dry midday before a few more thunderstorms again pop up late in the afternoon/evening in southern Minnesota.

Sunday should be dry with the next chance of thunder coming Monday. As the heat builds, we’ll likely be capped (too stable for storms) Tuesday. We’re still on for heat next week with the first of what could be a few 90s ahead coming Tuesday.
