We have another nice summer day Friday with warm, but not hot temperatures, lots of sun and dew points still in the comfortable 50s. Heat builds in the west Saturday and spreads across the state Sunday.
Weekend heat
Western Minnesota gets in on the 90s Saturday afternoon while we remain in the 80s (and 70s northeast) Saturday.
Those 90s spread east Sunday. Western Minnesota could see 100 in some spots. Humidity will be on the increase as well with much less comfortable air by afternoon Sunday.
Storm chances will be pretty hit and miss riding up and over the heat dome into early next week. The best chances of some storms breaking through will be perhaps Monday night or Tuesday, but overall we may be wanting rain next week.
