Tuesday will yield another hot day but with dropping dew points making it feel much more comfortable than the last two days. Wednesday will be cooler before it heats up again.
Dropping dew points Tuesday
It was another very warm overnight with temperatures only falling into the 70s across the region. We’ll see highs Tuesday again in the low 90s in southern Minnesota.

Dew points will drop through the day Tuesday from near 70 early on to the 50s by evening.

Wednesday will be pleasant. Temperatures will still be above normal, but not hot, with 80s south and 70s north. Dew points will remain in the comfortable range.
Hot again Thursday and Friday
Don’t get too used to comfort. The heat is building back for Thursday and Friday. It won’t be as brutal as this latest heat wave, but highs will again be in the low 90s with stickier air returning again.

Thunderstorm chances will be sporadic Friday and Saturday leaving many drying soils yearning for water.
