Storms move across southeast Minnesota Tuesday evening
Scattered storms will move across portions of the region
Updated 8:30 p.m.
Cooler air moves into Minnesota overnight behind a cold front but things heat back up Wednesday already.
Behind the cool front it will be chilly in northeast Minnesota with lows in the 40s there, elsewhere in the 50s.
There’s a marginal risk (level 1 out of 5) of severe weather in northern Minnesota Wednesday and then southeast on Thursday.
90 degree temperatures return
The blast of cool air will be rather short-lived. The same frontal boundary lifts north already Wednesday bringing blustery south winds at 15-30 mph and temperatures near 90 for western and southern Minnesota.
