Some showers and thunder are possible Tuesday with temperatures warming up into the 70s and 80s across the state. Heat builds back in Wednesday bringing many spots close to 90 again.
Shower and thunder chances Tuesday
A cool front is sweeping across Minnesota Tuesday bringing a chance of showers early and late in the day. The morning activity will be mainly scattered rain showers. With daytime heating, some pop-up thunderstorms are then possible late afternoon-evening from the Twin Cities into southeast Minnesota and western Wisconsin.

High temperatures Tuesday will be in the 80s south, and 70s north.

Heating up again midweek
Get ready for more heat in southern and western Minnesota Wednesday and Thursday. Highs will be near 90 for many again with an increase in dew points as well.

We have another chance of some showers north on Wednesday and more widespread potentially Saturday night into Sunday of the upcoming holiday weekend.
