Showers at times this Saturday, with a t-storm also possible

Far northern Minnesota looks dry Saturday

This is the Fourth of July holiday weekend and many people want to know if it will rain.

The northern third of Minnesota looks rain-free much of Saturday. Areas of showers, with a thunderstorm also possible, will move across the remainder of Minnesota and portions of western Wisconsin during the morning and early afternoon. A few very scattered showers and a thunderstorm are also possible late Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening.

You can hear updated weather information for Minnesota and western Wisconsin on the Minnesota Public Radio News network, and you can see updated weather info on the MPR News live weather blog.
