We’ll have summery warmth this weekend and dew points will be in the sticky range.
Twin Cities metro area highs are expected to reach the mid-80s on Saturday, and a few spots in the metro could be slightly warmer than that. Our average Twin Cities high temp is 84 degrees this time of year.
Most of Minnesota and western Wisconsin will have Saturday afternoon highs in the 80s, with upper areas expected across much of western Minnesota. There will be a few 70s up along the North Shore of Lake Superior.
Saturday afternoon dew points will be in the sticky upper 60s in central and southern Minnesota:

Sunday high temperatures will reach the upper 80s to around 90 in western Minnesota and parts of southern Minnesota, with cooler lower 80s in northeastern Minnesota:
Lower 90s are reachable in the Red River Valley of northwestern Minnesota, and a few spots up along the North Shore of Lake Superior could see highs in the upper 70s. Some spots in the Twin Cities metro area will probably touch 90 degrees Sunday afternoon.

Parts of Minnesota could see a few scattered showers and thunderstorms Saturday and Saturday evening,
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s High-Resolution Rapid Refresh (HRRR) forecast model shows the potential rain pattern from 7 a.m. Saturday to 2 a.m. on Sunday:
Notice that the HRRR model includes much of Minnesota in the scattered showers and thunderstorms at some point, bringing a bit of rain into portions of northeastern and east-central Minnesota late Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening.
NOAA’s North American Mesoscale (NAM) model keeps eastern Minnesota dry Saturday and Saturday evening, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in parts of western Minnesota, mainly during the afternoon and evening hours:
Any showers or thunderstorms that do develop shouldn’t last very long at any one spot. Sunday is looking rain-free at this point.
