More sunshine south Thursday; few showers north

Thursday will be brighter and warmer in the southern half of Minnesota but we’ll likely see our coolest high temperatures of the month. High temperatures will only be in the mid to upper 70s south, but northern Minnesota will see highs just in the 60s.  77 is the number for us to beat (as in stay under) for it to be the coolest high temperature for July.

Clouds will fill back in for northeast Minnesota as there will be some lingering instability (cool air aloft).
