A beautiful Monday gives way to heat Tuesday
In the wake of Sunday night’s cool front, conditions will be more comfortable Monday with partly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the 80s south and 70s north. Dew points will be in the more comfy 50s.

Hot, humid air moves back in quickly for Tuesday into Wednesday. Highs will be well into the 90s across southern and western Minnesota Tuesday.

While temperatures will drop a bit for Thursday and Friday, 90s could be back for many by the weekend.
Chance of midweek thunder
The next chance of at least some thunderstorms returns late Tuesday into early Wednesday as a cool front slowly moves across Minnesota dropping temperatures and dew points slightly behind it for Thursday and Friday.

There’s a risk a few of those storms could be strong to severe.
