Our mini cool spell continues with another comfortable night across Minnesota Monday night. Temperatures start to heat back up to above normal readings Tuesday and Wednesday with the next chance of rain, thunder coming Friday.
A cool couple of nights
This morning’s low of 56 at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport was the coolest morning in two months. June 9 was the last time we were that cool or cooler.

We can expect another comfortable overnight with lows mainly in the 50s, a few northeast Minnesota spots will see readings in the 40s again.
Tuesday will bring temperatures back to normal or even above. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 80s in the south and even upper 80s in western Minnesota.

Next rain chance
The next chance of some rain and thunder comes Friday as another disturbance rolls in from the west. Until then it will be dry with lots of sunshine.
