More rain Thursday into Friday; cooler Friday and Saturday
More scattered showers, storms develop Thursday into Friday
After some incredible isolated downpours Wednesday, Thursday will bring more showers and thunder, especially later in the day. Clouds and occasional showers will keep temperatures cooler Friday.
Another unsettled day Thursday
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be around almost all of Minnesota again Thursday. Some of the showers and thunderstorms Thursday could produce locally heavy rainfall.
In between showers with some peeks of sun we’ll still squeeze out a high temperature near 80 in the south.
Showers will continue to rotate around a slow moving upper low Friday with lots of cloud cover as well.

Intense downpours dumped lots of rain for some Wednesday
Parts of Minnesota saw intense downpours Wednesday as a result of very slow moving thunderstorms.
A spotter in Cambridge measured a 5 inch rainfall total Wednesday evening. Radar estimates showed several swaths of 2 to 4 inches in some eastern Twin Cities suburbs as well as near Hill City and parts of northern Minnesota.
Sunny stretch next week
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday next week looks spectacular with highs in the low 80s, comfortable dew points in the 50s.
