We’ll see an increase in the number and frequency of showers and thunderstorms across much of Minnesota late Thursday. We’ll still squeeze out a high temperature near 80 in the south between showers with peeks of sun.

We’ll see an increase in the number of showers and thunderstorms Thursday and across a larger area in Minnesota.
Temperatures will still be warm with peeks of sun allowing temperatures to pop up to around 80 in southern Minnesota.
Cooler, cloudy with numerous showers Friday
The cut-off upper level low and pool of cool air aloft will develop and slowly move through Minnesota into Iowa and Wisconsin into the weekend. It will bring quite a bit of clouds and scattered waves of showers pinwheeling around it.
We should gradually be brighter and warmer Sunday into early next week.
