A nearby high-pressure system will deliver plenty of sunshine to Minnesota and western Wisconsin this weekend. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s North American Mesoscale forecast model isn’t showing any rain in our area from 7 a.m. Saturday to 11 p.m. on Sunday:

Temps and dew points
Our average Twin Cities high temperature is 77 degrees on Sept. 3. Saturday highs will be in the mid-70s across much of the metro area.

There’ll be a lot of 70s in Minnesota and west-central Wisconsin on Saturday, with 60s in north-central and northeastern Minnesota and parts of northwestern Wisconsin:
Saturday afternoon dew points will be in the comfortable 40s and lower 50s:
Light winds overnight will allow temps to drop into the 40s in much of Minnesota and western Wisconsin by early Sunday morning:
Most of the Twin Cities metro area will see overnight lows in the lower 50s.
Sunday highs will reach the 70s in most areas, with 60s in northeastern Minnesota:
